Staff
This position will be performing compliance audits for institutions that participate in student financial aid programs. This includes reviewing FAFSA, Verification and C-Code documents, Title IV disbursements, Return to Title IV (R2T4) calculations, and calculating Pell and Direct Loan eligibility. This position will also perform basic testing of institutional and accounting areas as outlined in the audit programs. Experience in Financial Aid strongly desired.
Senior
In addition to the responsibilities of a Staff Accountant, this position will be working with Managers and Supervisors to prepare budgets, act as primary liaison with client, oversee staff accountants, and demonstrate technical writing capabilities. Candidate should possess 3 to 5 years of experience within higher education, preferably in Financial Aid.
Supervisor
In addition to the responsibilities of a Senior Accountant, this position will be responsible for overall management of client relationships, overseeing all aspects of Financial Aid audits including, but not limited to, planning, staffing, testing, report writing, and research. This position will be responsible for providing training, feedback and oversight to staff and senior accountants, and identifying and communicating planning/consulting opportunities for our clients. Candidates must possess 10+ years in higher education, preferably within Financial Aid.
Staff
This position will be auditing financial statements and performing compliance audits for institutions that participate in student financial aid programs. B.S. in accounting required. Public accounting experience or CPA license a plus.
Senior
In addition to the responsibilities of a Staff Accountant, this position will be working with Managers and Supervisors to prepare budgets, perform risk assessments, act as primary liaison with client, oversee staff accountants, and draft financial statements. Candidate must possess a BS in Accounting/Finance along with 2+ years of public accounting experience. CPA license a plus.
Supervisor
In addition to the responsibilities of a Senior Accountant, this position will be responsible for overall management of client relationships, overseeing all aspects of audits including, but not limited to, planning, staffing, testing, report writing, and research. This position will be responsible for providing training, feedback and oversight to staff and senior auditors, and identifying and communicating planning/consulting opportunities for our clients. Candidate must possess a BS in Accounting/Finance along with 5+ years of audit experience. CPA license and ability to travel is required.
Staff
This position will be responsible for the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals as well as basic tax research and planning of related issues. Candidate must possess a BS in Accounting/Finance along with 0 - 4 years of experience related to tax. CPA license and/or progress a plus.
Senior
In addition to the responsibilities of a Tax Staff Accountant, this position will be responsible for the preparation and/or review of federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals as well as basic to intermediate research and planning of related issues.
