6th Annual Todd-a-thon

By McClintock & Associates | December 20, 2016

During 2007, the McClintock family lost one of its own, Todd Reed McClintock, to leukemia at age 26. But, they would not let Todd’s passing be in vain. Every year, for the past six years, the McClintocks have held the annual Todd-a-thon to raise money for leukemia research. This year alone, they raised nearly $35,000 for the Todd Reed McClintock Memorial Research Fund, bringing the six year total to over $300,000 for important blood cancer research.

This year Team Todd also provided the opportunity for attendees to join the DKMS/Delete Blood Cancer Bone Marrow Donor Registry. They have found success with the registry, as one of their own family members was a match for another leukemia patient. The stem cell recipient recently celebrated his one-year anniversary of the procedure and is doing well! We encourage you to look into bone marrow donor options in your own city. To find out more information about the registry, visit www.deletebloodcancer.org.

Team Todd’s efforts bring us one step closer to a CURE for leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma.
