Managing Director

Dave began serving as Managing Director in 2017 and is focused on providing high value client service while maintaining employee wellness.  Clients appreciate Dave’s advice related to the 90/10 calculation, composite score projections and when considering acquisitions in the industry.  He is frequently requested or selected to present at industry conferences on a wide variety of topics.

During the first quarter of 2022, Dave was chosen to be the first advisor for Negotiated Rulemaking who was selected due to experience auditing institutions that participate in Title IV. He filled that non-voting role for the Institutional and Programmatic Eligibility Committee which tackled 90/10, Gainful Employment and Change in Ownership along with other key topics.

Prior to joining McClintock & Associates, Dave held various positions in the investment industry, most recently as an analyst for a large fund of hedge funds.

Dave has been an active member of the local community. He and his family held fundraising events for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for over ten years, raising over $500,000, and registered people as potential donors with the national bone marrow registry.  In addition, he has served on the boards of the Miracle League of the South Hills, his community’s athletic association and a local preschool and daycare center.  Dave enjoys traveling with his family and creating new experiences with them.  He currently enjoys golf and paddle tennis, after having spent years coaching his children’s teams in baseball, basketball, soccer, and hockey.

"I’m inspired to work with postsecondary institutions who stay focused on helping their students significantly change their lives for the better despite ever changing regulations."
